It's been a week of graduations for the Spence Family! Last Saturday Alex and Matthew had their graduation picnic for Cub Scouts. Alex is now officially a first year Webelo and Matthew is a Wolf Cub (Matthew also got to do the flag ceremony, which he thought was pretty cool!). They were very excited, and proud, since Cub Scouts is a big deal to the boys. Now that Alex is a Webelo he'll be going to Overnight summer camp in June. Of course, being the overprotective mommy that I am, I would only agree to that if Tom went with him. Matthew gets to go to Daycamp this year! He's been waiting for the past couple of years, dying for his turn. They spend a week doing SO many great things, he can't wait. They do sports, crafts, bb guns, archery, plus much more. It is (in my boys opinion) the best part of cubscouts. 
On Tuesday Ryan had a preschool graduation. He isn't officially out of preschool, since he has another year left. But he has advanced from the 3/4 class to the 4/5's. He had a great year, and loves school. He has
made a bunch of new friends, most of which will be with him again next year. He's excited that his "best friend" Connor will be with him again next year. (Connor is the brother of Matthew's best friend Jack, I know everyone knows all about Jack, he's famous in our house, lol) It is going to be a long summer though. The first thing Ryan did this morning was check on Michael, the second thing he did was ask if he had school. I told him he was on summer break, so he asked "can I at least go next week?" Although he wouldn't have been going to school anyway, since he came down with a 102 fever yesterday, and is still really sick. The poor thing has been waiting all winter to play in their pool and on the waterslide. Now that it is finally warm enough, he's sick.
