This is what the boys decided to call yesterday, "fall fun day". We had a busy day getting ready for Halloween. We went in the morning and picked out pumpkins. Then we came home and the boys played football outside with
Tom. (Matthew all of the sudden is obsessed with playing football. God help us all.) Then we cleaned out all the pumpkins, which took forever, bec
ause of course, they have to pick out the absolute biggest pumpkin they can find, lol. Then we made pumpkin seeds. Tom and Alex love to eat pumpkin seeds! Then we decided to get a hay bale and make our own scarecrow. It worked out pretty good, because Tom was forced to get rid
of his holey jeans for the scarecrow. He was joking that he'll still wear them when the scarecrow is done with them...it wouldn't surprise me! So after our scarecrow was done and all set up on the rocking chair, we carved our pumpkins. Not only did they carve them, but Matthew also colored all over it, and wanted to tape paper things he made to it. Typical Matthew, lol. All in all, the boys had a great day, and so did we, although I was exhausted and fell asleep on the couch at about 7pm. They were also excited because for just a few minutes it hailed/snowed. I'm surprised they didn't get their snow pants on and try to have a snowball fight! We have an exciting week of cub
scouts, Trunk-or-Treating at church, and of course Halloween.....so stay tuned for more pictures!

Cute pics. Scary scarecrow. I couldn't click on the pic of Connor though.
